The Judith Leysterbridge (1925) in Amsterdam is a bridge build by Piet Kramer and is located in front of the Rijksmuseum in the center of Amsterdam. It is the only bridge in the Stadhouderskade neighbourhood and spans the Boerenwetering canal. The bridge is recognizable because mainly tourists hang love locks on it.
Due to maintenance work on the bridge the asphalt deck of the bridge needs to be broken up, in technical terms asphalt milling. Hein Heun has been called in to remove and dispose of the asphalt. The removal of the asphalt was carried out with one of our mobile cranes with the necessary tools. The released asphalt was removed by our own transport. The combination of the work with this beautiful location in the heart of Amsterdam produces beautiful images.
