Innovation and development is one of the core values within the Hein Heun Group. Together with partners, we are continuously working on an improved work process to enable the circularity flow and thus create a better living environment for people, animals and global environment.

In 2020, Hein Heun Group has already drawn up its own Recycle-Reduce-Reuse work protocol and from Thursday 11 May, Hein Heun Group can also call itself the first recognized demolition company in the Netherlands for working in accordance with the Sustainable Material Inventory (SMI) work process. Together with TÜV Nord Nederland and DagNL, we have worked hard to set up this work process and further specify our services. Thanks to the SMI work process, residual waste is reduced to a bare minimum and the client gets full insight into the disassembly method. In this way, the client can make better choices, for example for the reuse of released materials.

The certificate was handed at Jumbo’s head office in Veghel (NL). Our first project to work according to this process was a branch of Jumbo at the Pieter Stastokerf in Amersfoort. We are proud to be part of the complex process to make this possible and thus take another big step towards a circular economy when amovating objects.

DIN EN ISO 9001 is a standard from the general DIN EN ISO 9000 series and is a worldwide recognized standard that specifies the requirements for effective quality management in a company. The certification confirms that Hein Heun Abbruchunternehmen GmbH meets these high quality management requirements. The quality system of Hein Heun Abbruchunternehmen GmbH is continuously improved through regular audits.

Total Demolition & Recycling BV is certified for the BRL SIKB 7000.

• Protocol 7001: Carrying out the soil remediation with conventional methods
• Protocol 7004: Temporary relocation of land

The BRL SIKB 7000 protocols 7001 and 7004 relate to the implementation of soil remediation in accordance with the Soil Remediation Act (Wbb) and the Uniform Remediation Decree (BUS). With this certificate, TD&R is certified and a recognized company to be able to carry out soil remediation.

Hein Heun Group is continuously committed to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. We are therefore proud that this effort has been rewarded with the BRL SIKB 7000 certification.

Safety and health VCA Petrochemistry

In the persuit of safe working conditions and promoting health in general, organisations within the Hein Heun Group have been certified for the VCA** (safety, health and environmental checklist for contractors) for many years. Originally, the petrochemical working sector in the Netherlands initiated to classify practical safety, health and environmental aspects and associated risks in work execution in a certifiable standard; VCA **.

With this standard as a solid base an addition for the petrochemical industry has been developed; VCA-P.

The VCA-P standard is specifically targeted at main and subcontractors who carry out work in the petrochemical working sector. In this sector there is generally a risky invironment and there are increased risks in according to health, safety and ditto environmental aspects (soil and water contamination).

Hein Heun Demolition Works is certified for ISO 14001. This certification endorses the international standard with requirements for an environmental management system. An environmental management system is used to develop an appropriate environmental policy and ensure its implementation. The requirements to the system are:

• Continuous improvement of performance and protecting the environment;
• Controlling the environmental risks as a result from the activities of the organization;
• At least meet the applicable legal requirements;

With the help of an environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard, the environmental risks of business operations can be controlled and, if possible, reduced.

Hein Heun continuously focuses on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. We are therefore proud that this commitment has been rewarded with the ISO-14001 certification.

In 2020 the Hein Heun Group exists 40 years and we are going to celebrate by various fun promotions. To start with, we want to have a nice coloring action among our junior followers. A family business has been an exceptional occurrence in recent years. Only few companies have been continued for years by one and the same family, Hein Heun Groep B.V. is one of those companies that did. This is partly maintained by the standards and values ​​that are highly respected within our company. One of those norms is corporate social responsibility or “do good things for society”. We believe in the powerful term: “Who does good, meets well”. And we are very proud of that.

September 14 was a day where we could all stand still for a moment because of our strength. We participated in a truckers’ parade in which people with a physical or mental disability were allowed to ride with one of our, or other participating, truckers. A great experience for both the co-driver and also for the trucker himself.

Hein Heun Group B.V. supports this special promotion again this year by driving with four trucks (!). Along the way, they met photographer Dianne Aaltink-Laarman who captured this special event. She has provided us beautiful images. See the results of the ride below.

Hein Heun is the main sponsor of the partyweek in Vroomshoop. The week is all because of the 160 years anniversary of Vroomshoop, celebrated in the week of monday september 9th untill saturday september 14th. Hein Heun loves to work with the support of the organisation for this special week. Hein Heun Group B.V. has, among other things, sponsored the crush barriers for along the mega large marquee and there are fencing for fencing around the party grounds. The fences are hung by the organization of the festival with cloths on which the logos of the sponsors are depicted.

On July 8th TD&R received the WSCS-OCE certificate. WSCS-OCE is an workspecific certification scheme for the tracking of conventional explosives and is obligated by law before any explosive tracking may be done. The scheme contains restrictions in quality, safety and expert knowledge regarding the execution of the process.

The certificate is split in two devisions: Tracking and civil engineering support. TD&R is certified for array B: civil engineering support. This means that, in combination with a partner who is certified for area A (reporting and securing), they are allowed to collectively collect and clear away explosives, and by obtaining this certificate we are also fully equipped to carry out aircraft salvages.

TD&R has three cranes that are WSCS-OCE certified:

From Saturday, April 20 to Monday, April 22, the kite festival has been organized for the 11th time at the Tonnendijk in Vroomshoop. The festival is organized in a large meadow behind our company in Vroomshoop.

This year 71 people have subscribed as participants. The participants come from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and the festival is an impressive event every year. From far and wide visitors come to see the impressive kites that come in all kinds of forms such as a friendly bee, a crocodile, a huge squid and many other kites.

Hein Heun Groep B.V. sponsors the kite festival this year with road plates, crush barriers and other equipment.
