Hein Heun Demolition Works is certified for ISO 14001. This certification endorses the international standard with requirements for an environmental management system. An environmental management system is used to develop an appropriate environmental policy and ensure its implementation. The requirements to the system are:
- Continuous improvement of performance and protecting the environment;
- Controlling the environmental risks as a result from the activities of the organization;
- At least meet the applicable legal requirements;
With the help of an environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard, the environmental risks of business operations can be controlled and, if possible, reduced.
