Amovating electrical turbine and circular removal concrete block

At an electrical central, our employees recently circular amovated an electrical turbine. Beneath the turbine an massive armed block of armed concrete was used as foundation for the turbine. After we’ve circular removed the turbine, the foundation of the concrete block was remaining. This massive block of 45 ton with an size of 4 meters long, 2,5 meters wide and 1,20 meters high needed to be removed untill it was leveled with the floor. To remove the block, our team of specialists first drilled holes with diamond of round 50mm. Then we divided the block into four equal halves by marking it and started cutting the block. First we loosened the entire block from the ground by means of a wire saw and next we’ve separated the block in the four marked halves. When the blocks were loose and ready to be transported, our team preparated anchor points on top of the blocks in order to lift the block and remove it with our own transport. All activities where carried out in accordance to our Recycle-Reduce-Reuse policy.
