Last September, Hein Heun Asbestos Remediation department is set in for an project in an shopping mall in Amersfoort. The asbestos was found under the concrete beams whose were installed on the ground floor of an apartment complex. Our remediators had to work very carefully to remove the asbestos. At first we closed the entire location and completely screened it with foil. In addition, an special extraction system has been installed to put the room under pressure and therefor avoid any dust to escape from the scene.
Subsequently, our expert employees with protective clothing and masks started removing the asbestos-containing parts in shifts. Working in shifts avoided the renovation to suffer any delay of the shopping mall center and the deadlines of the renovation haven’t suffered from our work.
The residents of the apartment complex have been slightly troubled by our work. For this we have given all residents a bouquet of flowers.
