In a fire in September, a number of sheds of a flower bulb company in the North-Holland village of Hem, near Enkhuizen, were burned and seriously damaged. The sheds were used for the storage of flower bulbs. Asbestos containing material was released during the fire. Hein Heun has been called in to carry out the remediation of the asbestos on the property of 7500m² and to disassemble and demolish the burned-out sheds.

First the released asbestos was remediated by our expert employees and the asbestos-containing waste was removed, followed by the circular demolition and disposal of the remains of the sheds. Finally, the concrete floors were removed. Our Liebherr R994 excavator was used to carry out these activities. The work have been executed in accordance with the Recycle-Reduce-Reuse protocol, which means that all released materials have been separated to enable recycling and reuse. Ultimately, all released materials were removed by our own distribution network.
