Removal of Rail bridge from 1932 across the Van Starkenborghkanaal in Zuidhorn

ProRail (an large rail company in the Netherlands) has replaced the railbridge over the Van Starkenborgh canal in Zuidhorn. This has happened because of the complete adjustment of the main waterway Lemmer-Delfzijl. After completion, larger ships are capable of navigating through the canal. The new railbridge is going to be larger and higher. Because of the height improvement, ships with four layers of containers can sail under the bridge.
