Februari 2022 will go down in the books as storm month, with three storms that have raged over the Netherlands within one week; Dudley, Eunice and Franklin. A few months before this storm release, Leersum in Utrecht was also hit by a natural phenomenon, namely a gust of wind or ‘downburst’. During this downburst, which caused enormous damage in and around the village of Leersum, damage was also caused to an building next to homes in this village. Hein Heun has been called in to expertly amovate the building in a circular manner so that no further damage can occur to the surrounding area.
Because the area did not offer much space for the use of heavy machinery, we’ve decided to go on location with an 8-tons midi excavator. Before the equipment was located to prevent further damage in the area, the area was closed with steel road plates.
During the demolition, the residual waste streams were immediately separated at location, placed in appropriate containers and transported to a certified processor in the area using our own logistics for recycling.
