Asbestos remediation at 8m height

In our work we come across all kinds of situations when applying for asbestos remediation. Often, the material is in relatively inaccessible places. This is also the case for this project at a shipyard in Amsterdam. Sheet material with a risk class 2 was found at a height of 8 meters in a crane track. For this purpose, a containment area of 200 m² was placed for the remediation of the asbestos on the crane runway. To carry out this work, we placed a custom scaffold of 20 meters long and 10 meters wide and build the containment on the scaffolded platform.

The remediation is carried out in a short time with strict planning to disrupt production as short as possible.
