For one of our clients, we have recently stripped and disassembled an building in Zaandam. The building is being expanded and work has been carried out on behalf of this extension. We were part of a (renovation) team and we focused on good cooperation with all parties involved. This means that all work that had to be carried out between the parties involved had to be coordinated so that everyone could properly perform on his or her work.
We have started by setting up the recycling street, as we call this. In the recycling street we place all kinds of containers to be able to separate the releases from the work. By working in this we we enable recycling and we are able to offer almost all materials released for reuse.
After setting up the recycling street we started with the disassembly work on the first floor of the building. After dismantling the ceilings, glass walls, toilet facilities and the play unit, it was possible to start removing the tiles from the walls and floors. A mounted staircase was removed completely by using our mobile crane.
We then started our work on the ground floor. These activities included the removal of the inner staircase, the removal of an ornamental cove mounted on the ceiling, the removal of the tile floor and the cement screed and at last we had an clean and tidy building ready to be rebuild again.
