From our demolition discipline, we have been familiar with the processing of (residual) waste and the reuse of materials for 40 years. At Hein Heun, we convert waste into new materials and thus contribute to a sustainable future. There are many different types of waste, below is briefly described which waste we all collect and what the acceptance criteria of these waste are.

Recycling

Hein Heun and all business operations follow the circular economy principles. For example, we have the philosophy that all materials used must be reused in a new cycle in a high-quality way, without residual products. This is sorted in our halls and treated in the same way above.

This is also referred to as Cradle to Cradle, which is included as part of our CSR (Performance Ladder Level 3). This has made us a leading company in waste logistics, waste processing and waste recycling.

Recycling of debris

Debris from demolition works is processed into granulates in various grain sizes. These are used as foundation material in road construction or as a gravel substitute in the concrete mortar and concrete products industry.

Sorting

All waste from (by example) industrial companies, shops and institutions is separated into so-called mono-flows (batches of one and the same material) and a residual flow (residual materials). Some of the mono streams (metal, plastics) are returned to the industry for reuse.

Mobile debris breaking

The debris that is released during demolition works is the basis for a beautiful, technically attractive and environmentally hygienic clean product: rubble granulate. This material has become the standard for almost all foundations in road and utility construction.

The process of turning rubble into a beautiful product is secured by certification (BRL2506) and the product is provided with a KOMO quality mark. Based on agreements to be made, we can also break your rubble and, if desired, even take over ownership.

Our mobile crushers are used on or own projects, but also on locations of third parties.

Our expert people are fully attuned to each other so that after the crushing process, a product is delivered that is fully certified in accordance with BRL 2506.

Storage- and transshipment

We have a water connection with loading and unloading facilities at our location on the Binnenhaven in Enschede. Ships up to 2,000 tons can moor at the quay. Ask us about the possibilities.

Container services

To save both costs and the environment, it is important to separate as much waste as possible at its source. This is financially attractive to you and also environmentally friendly.

Hein Heun offers a total package of services in order to collect your construction and demolition waste and / or industrial waste. Including waste collection by means of (residual) waste containers. The transport and processing of your industrial waste is also provided by Hein Heun. We offer our own container service for companies and have been operating at home and abroad for many years. We will work with you to find a suitable solution for the efficient disposal of your waste at competitive rates.

Our container range consists of various sales and roll containers. Disposal containers are available from 6 m³ to 50 m³ and are suitable for the collection of construction and demolition waste, rubble, wood and roof waste.

To order a container, call (0031) (0)85 8500118 or (0031) (0) 546 – 641011.

Recycling of wood

Waste wood from industrial and wood processing companies is processed into secondary raw material and fuels. Think of pallets, beams, planks and sleepers. Raw wood (A-wood) is used as a raw material in the chipboard industry. The remaining wood (B and C wood) is reprocessed into secondary fuel for biomass power plants.

Mobile sieving

Hein Heun has various sieves for on-site screening. The flat screen is ideal for filtering finer fractions and filtering various flows. Our sieves are equipped with reading platforms on the conveyor belts, so that it is also possible to read products on the conveyor belts that do not belong to the end products, such as asbestos, wood and plastic.
